10.3: Spring-loaded folder behaviour in sidebars

Actually, it depends on the type of the window: if it's brushed it will NOT open a new window, if it's not (no sidebar and no Toolbar) it will open a new window.

Of course, the Finder preference "Always open folders in a new window" will override this. ;)

Well that's just plain odd. Is the Finder a brushed metal app or isn't it? I was surprised to see the brushed metal disappear when I hid the sidebar and the toobar.
