10.3: Spring-loaded folder behaviour in sidebars

Yep, very annoying. Of course your behavior will be different depending on what you have showing - toolbars, sidebar, etc. Anything with toolbar/sidebar is (by default) a "browser" and won't open new windows unless you specify in the prefs. It appears to be real flexible until you realize that it presents really incoherent results sometimes. Stick a new CD in and the window always opens with a sidebar and and toolbar regardless of whether your other windows normally have those elements. Also, doing so causes another "browser" style window to open even when there already is one. Very inconsistent.
