10.3: Make remote AppleScripts work with iTunes
Authored by: p4ul13 on Dec 10, '03 04:06:27PM
I have been using those applescripts through ssh to control iTunes from my winXP laptop downstairs. I have been trying to create a webpage that will run on the mac and run my scripts that way, but am having little luck. I have cgi-bin activated in apache, and I have perl-scripts which succeed in running my applescripts through SSH, but refuse to run through a browser.

Any thoughts?

my guess is that apache is running as user www and therefore doesn't have permission to control the itunes user's stuff.
