10.3: Understanding PowerBook screen dimming timing
Authored by: sfn on Dec 08, '03 09:07:01PM

'dim' in pmset refers to 'Display Sleep' in Energy Saver.

The 'Dimming' in Energy Saver refers to the slight reduction in screen brightness that occurs on laptops and seems to be fixed at 50% of Sleep (or dim in pmset).
