Tex-Edit Plus
Authored by: WhiteDog on Dec 04, '03 04:36:45AM

I use Tex-Edit Plus the most. It is faster than Word for quick notes (I do tech support so I take a lot of notes) and has the added advantage that I can read files saved in Tex-Edit Plus format with the OS 9 version of the app when I find myself in that environment. It can also save files in Simple Text format which is helpful when I have to take my notes to an older Mac for troubleshooting and maintenance. Of course, for heavy duty writing, I use Word if I expect other people may need to read what I write. And then there's Eudora: I do a lot of e-mail correspondence and many an essay began in a rambling e-mail conversation.

Don't anthropomorphize computers.
They hate that.
