Search by telephone number in Address Book weird in Panther
This was possible in Jaguar also, however I believe it was more flexible in Jaguar. In Jaguar you could search for one part of the phone number (the last four digits for example). I used that feature a lot. Just type in the last four digits of a phone number and 99% of the time it would narrow it down to one address book entry.

in fact, you'll notice that if you type even the few LAST digits IN REVERSE (!) it works ! (well, why, I dunno !) |
