10.3: Recreate the Go -> Documents Finder menu option
Authored by: uurf on Nov 28, '03 03:15:29PM

I used interface builder to add Documents and Favorites as Items, but have 2 questions.

Any tips on how to get each Item to display their icon (as Computer and Home do in the Go Menu)?

I tried to add Favorites as a Submenu (as it was in 10.2) but wasn't successful in getting the children to populate. I used the Recent Folders menu item as a starting point, but was not successful. Any thoughts or tips?

Not exactly in the right hint, but as we are editing the menu bar... I remember FruityMenu has the option of changing the application name in the menu to it's icon, but I refuse to pay a shareware fee for this single purpose, and also like to minimize the ammount of apps installed on the system. Although I really liked this feature as it saved some menubar space, anyone knows what needs to be edited?
