10.3: Restore internet printing from Windows

I have an interesting little problem. I have set up my printer on Mac OS X (Panther), and managed to find the network printer and set it up on Windows as well. Everything seems ok however when I print from windows.......nothing happens. No error or anything. I can print on Mac OS X fine though. I am sure I am missing something, but I have tried this on two different Macs connecting to two differant windows computers and two differant printers with the same result. I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

I had that problem on Jaguar until I set up a second printer entry for my Canon i860 for access by my wife's Windows PC. I thought that wouldn't be necessary with Panther and I'm still waiting to do what I did on Jaguar 'til I'm sure.

i have the same thing happening... i set up windows, but every time i print the jobs wind up in /dev/null

for some reason, device URI is set to file:///dev/null (!) and i see no way to change it. on top of that i don't see an add printer button on that web page :\

what am i doing wrong? :\

vacuums do not suck. they merely provide an absence that allows other objects to take the place of what becomes absent.
