10.3: Fast user switching and Logitech Control Center 1.1.1
I uninstalled the Logitech Control center because my mouse was behaving oddly. Right clicks seemed to take forever and I wanted to see if things would improve if I reinstalled it. I found that things worked much better without it! It seems that Apple's own driver works just fine with my Logitech two button optical mouse. The right mouse button works as ctrl-click. There does not appear to be a way to program it for another combination without the Logitech driver. I have the scroll wheel button programmed to Expose' (all windows). This is done via the Expose' control panel. The middle mouse button option works for the scroll wheel button. (There is also an option to make the right button work) So, I don't have any reason to reinstall the Logitech driver.
10.3: Fast user switching and Logitech Control Center 1.1.1
For some reason without Logitech Control Center, my Cordless Optical TrackMan (excellent wireless trackball) acts oddly. It seems like the movement is rotated counter-clockwise by anywhere from 20 to 50 degrees (for some reason it would change every now and then). If I rolled right, the pointer would go up-and-right. And the same for all other directions. It was extremely annoying, so I had to install LCC to fix that. |
