The good news: This does work; I can see and interact with meetings as they are now .ics files.

The bad news: It (iCal) is totally blowing off time-zone differences.

Damn, it's *so* close. :(

Hmmm...I don't seem to get a meeting.ics attachment. I wonder if this functionality is specific to the version of Exchange that is run. We're currently still using Exchange 5.5. What version is required for this function?

I believe it requires Exchange 2000 or "better." I know it's no good in 5.5.

Did you try going into iCal preferences and checking the box for "Turn on time zone support"? :)

I am the lone Mac user in my company, and we use exchange. Switching back to IMAP fro "exchange" mode in Mail got the meeting notifications to come to me (with .ics files).

BUT, our exchange server is in CA, and uses PST. Importing the .ics file into my iCal ignores the time zone. And yes, I have tried the "time zone" preference both ways. It is still ignored.

Anyone have any ideas?
