Using Firewire Drive as Startup
Authored by: JazzDude on Nov 02, '01 04:23:49AM

I have a Maxtor 20 GB harddrive in an IceCube FW enclosure (Oxford chip) and am able to install OS X on any of the drive's partitions. I found it very handy to be able to do that since my iBook 500's HD is not partitioned. This way I could try out different versions of OS X without changing anything on my main drive.
