10.3: Enable new Graphing Calculator view mode

It turns out you can just do a Get Info on the Calculator.app and in the Info window is a Plug-ins pane. Click add and you can navigate inside of the Calculator.app and choose the folders mentioned above.

Hmmm, I have the BasicandSci.calcview plugin, but nothing else.

here's how to do it:

open Get Info, then open the plug-ins section. Click "Add..."
In the dialog, navigate to Calculator (in your Applications folder) then follow the path Calculator->Contents->Resources (this is most easily done in column view. In the Resources folder you'll see the .calcview files discussed . Highlight them and they'll be added.

Appreciate the repeat, but I actually understand the hint and how to do this. On my machine, those views/files are not there.

Are you sure you have the final version of Panther (Build 7B85)?

Oh yeah, didn't see that. Very cool, thanks for the additional hint. BTW, someone asked me how to use squared (or cubic, ...) in the additional modes. It seems to work by using pow(x, y). But it often did cause very unusual results in graphing mode. Still kind of buggy...
