10.3 Print Setup Utility fails with renamed Utility folder
Authored by: Hes Nikke on Nov 05, '03 11:15:51AM

i just have my Utilities folder in my Finder Sidebar, negating the fact that it is all the way at the bottom of my Applications folder.

i also took out my Music, Movies, and Pictures folders from my sidebar (why would i want those?!) and replaced them with my Downloads, and Developer folders :)

vacuums do not suck. they merely provide an absence that allows other objects to take the place of what becomes absent.

Why not just create an alias with the leading space? Sounds obvious but it should achieve what you're trying to do.

I've placed aliases for some oft-used directories on the first level of my hard drive. File Exchanges with Timbuktu are somewhat annoying when you have to constantly navigate to your Documents folder and deeper. Placing those aliases there has saved me hours over the course of several months.
