Bookmark interesting items in the iTunes Music Store

I guess that's a pretty nice way to do it. What I've been doing from the get-go is I always leave my Store preferences set to use a shopping cart, rather than 1-click ordering.

That has the nice side benefit that you can keep interesting items in your shopping cart, and they'll stay there until you decide to purchase or remove them... even when going to a different Mac, assuming iTunes is set to use your same Apple ID.

Shopping cart is not a wish list

This doesn't work the way the dragging bookmarks does. Putting them in your shopping cart simply saves them for a batch purchase. I can't find a way to use the shopping cart like a "wish list" that allows selective access for the actual purchasing. I have often filled a shopping cart with wished for songs and then only wanted to buy a couple. No dice. I had to remove almost everything from my list and leave only the few I was going to buy at that time. Does Amazon have the wish list patented or something?

It's not so much the Amazon wish list we need, as the ability to mark certain things in the cart as "Save It For Later." (Hey, a song title!) My Amazon wish list has lots of expensive DVD sets that people are welcome to buy for me, but the "save for later" area of the cart has stuff that I intend to buy soon myself. :-)

(Okay, maybe Amazon has that patented too. Just an idea.)
