10.3: Utilize spring loaded folders in column view
Authored by: TvE on Nov 02, '03 06:44:46AM

In Jaguar the up-popping folder used the setting to determine if a new window had to be opende.

I always move the logfiles that are droppet at the root to the /Library/Logs folder and was - like you - annoyed that the windows popped op in stead of using my allready open column view.
I then changed the view of these folders to be column view (CMD-3) and then the spring loaded folders did as I expected - reused my open window.

I have yet to verify the Panther ignores the "folders-to-be-popped-settings" but from your hint it sounds like it works...
