Just a heads up.
You need to edit the .Plist file of the application you are making a KB command for.
Like if you are setting the KB command for Safari then you will need to edit the [code] NSUserKeyEquivalents [/code] area with in [code] ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist [/code].

I assume this is true if you only want the shortcut to apply to one application. The instructions given in the original hint make the shortcut apply to all applications.
