Erase and Install with upgrade CDs
Authored by: ngb on Oct 31, '03 10:03:24PM

I did erase and install with the upgrade CDs and now I have no Classic System Folder. I didn't realize the problem until I tried to install Acrobat 5 (apparently Acrobat 6 does not have this problem, at least Acrobat Reader, but that's another upgrade).

Maybe it's the Classic support that is the difference between the Upgrade and the regular install disks?

Just pop in the DVD (or CD) with your original system software and use Pacifist to install the Classic support and then you're set :)

Or if you have a backup of your HD or you got access to a friend's computer with the classic OS installed you can just copy the system folder (and applications folder if you wish) to your HD and that would work as well.
