10.3: Workaround for GeForce4MX install troubles
Authored by: SPmaniac on Oct 30, '03 06:13:03PM

I have another problem with my flashed Hercules GeForce2MX and I thought this could be the solution, but it didn't work. I had also this "Black Screen Problem" after several boots, but the main bug was, that GfxErrors appear, if I drag a window or scroll through a document. Quartz Extreme Check said that QE is disabled. Quake3 quits with an OpenGL Error.
I delete the NVDIA Drivers, so I can use Panther, but without AquaExtreme :(
I tried another GeForce2MX GfxCard, same symptoms.
Wish anyone could find a solution for my problem...

hi,
i had the same prob with a flushed geforce2 mx.
the only solution at the moment is to pull out your RAM.
if you have more than 256 mb RAM geforce card won`t work.
its hard to work with just 256 but this is reality and dunno if apple will fix this in near futur
