Nah, I'm with Robg on this one. If I label a bunch off apps "Hot", or something like that 'cause I like them (and maybe even write an Applescript that uses the label, like say "bring all "hot" apps to the front", whatever) doesn't mean that every user on the machine is going to agree with my choice in "hot" apps. Perhaps you think Safari is hot but your lover is really into IE (chances are it isn't going to work out, sorry!), for example. No biggie, but still an oversight in design IMHO.

For my purposes, I'm glad they work across multiple accounts. I hope to be able to flag files that I've copied over to the correct accounts so I know they're safe for deletion from the shared items folder. Of course, this isn't ideal for everyone- a preference to make it cross-user would be best.
