10.3: Find KeyCaps in its new home
A reply to robg's comment: just select Edit -> Special Characters... from any native application.
Native?
Safari must not be a native application.
Native?
Erm, the only application I see with that menuitem is the Finder, which isn't even a Cocoa application.
FontBook
It shows up in FontBook.
Native?
I see it in Safari, Finder, TextEdit, and MacReporter - all of the native apps I have open right now. I have several items checked in the Input Menu section of the International preference pane - maybe that makes a difference?

also: open TextEdit then use KeyCaps... Characters will appear in the TextEdit window
Is there some way I can change the flag?
Any way to get this to show up w/o having the US Flag displayed? I'm from Canada, and though I love my American friends to the south, I am not American and as such, don't want their flag on my menu bar. There is a Canadian keyboard layout, but this is the French Canadian one.
