The Geeklog comment submission code is screwing up again. My comment looked correct in the preview.
I'm not going to spend the time trying to figure out how to make it work correctly - suffice it to say that you should replace the whole for loop with the one line which is the body of the loop.

Use HTML mode and the

tags (yes, *square* brackets), and Geeklog will leave everything alone. It sucks, but so far, nobody has managed to fully correct the HTML parser in Geeklog, and the
hack is a successful workaround. I'd fix it myself except I have no clue at all about dealing with RegEx...

Ah - square brackets!?!
Maybe you should correct the "Allowed HTML" instructions (shown in red just below the "Post Mode" menu)
so that it makes mention of this square brackets thingie.

What, you mean you don't see that nice note above each comment box? :)

Good idea, it's done now. It already existed on the submission page, but not the comment pages.

Wow - thanks Rob.
It's certainly clear now.
I don't think I'll forget to put in those
...
tags next time!
