Hello everyone. Thanks to some users feedback, I've made improvement to the AvantGo shell script. Now, when the AvantGo connect application starts:
  1. HotSync is stopped
  2. previous malsync process are killed
Plus: I've made more comprehensive instructions in the readme files. You can download the new version here.

Great Work!
Thanks!
After trying my new Tungston E for a day with no luck
I discovered that this works on my old visor, with old Avantgo (even over a wireless lan) with no prob.
-excellent-
It only works with old Avantgo on OS4 though...?
This new release is already outdated?
Any help yet bringing this up to date?
My new Tungston E wants to know

...and Avango owes you all a free tshirt...

Thanks

Great news re bringing Avantgo back to the Mac. I've followed the instructions but haven't been able to sync successfully with my T3. I'm on System 10.3.1.

The message I get is:

USB Port Status: Connected (0x0830/0x0060)
TCP socket status: Socket connected
Bytes received from device: 0
Bytes sent to device:0

Any suggestions?

Steve
