SideTrack - Add new functionality to your trackpad
Authored by: VEGx on Oct 09, '03 09:00:08AM
Sorry, I guess my previous post might have been unclear... so I post again. This is what I was referring to:

Jaguar also offers this functionality. Look in the "Keyboard & Mouse" preference pane, under the "Trackpad" tab, and you'll see an "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present" option (at least it's there in 10.2.8)

These certainly is that "option" the only bad thing is that this option has never worked in Jaguar!!!

SideTrack - Add new functionality to your trackpad

I guess there's not much point in posting a reply after all this time, but this option really did work for me in 10.2 (I'm now running 10.3). It may not have worked for others, but it most definately worked for me.

Either that, or I was hallucinating the whole time I was running 10.2 because I always set my machines to ignore the trackpad when the mouse is connected, and I always notice when I'm using a machine that doesn't (I guess that speaks volumes about my crappy typing posture).
