Use Wiretap to created iTunes CDs with crossfades

Don't know anything about Wiretap, but I use Audio Hijack (which also has a Pro version) which not only records all the sound coming out of the Mac, but lets you designate which specific application it is recording from, and also has a mute capability, so you can record from one sound application while listening to another, and if you get a system beep in the middle of a long recording session, you don't have to start over.

It is also a fairly straightforward way of capturing Windows Media to an AIFF of .mp3 file, or capturing streaming audio or an external input as a permanent file. I use it to get my old cassette tapes onto my iPod.

Also has plenty of sound massaging tools to improve the sound quality.

End of commercial.

Relax, it's only ones and zeroes.
