Partition types?
Authored by: JPAnderson on Oct 14, '01 08:02:16PM

This looks like a great "hint" and I want to try it with my system, but I am not sure which partition types to use for the seven volumes suggested.

Specifically, is it best to go with AFS for the "Nine" and "Classic" partitions and UFS for the rest?

Or do the "Applications," "STM" and "Users" partitions need to be AFS+ to support both OS 9 and OS X?

Can I assume that the "GNU" volume must be UFS?

Does anyone have some advice?

I used HFS+ for all partitions. When I had the beta version of 10, I did once try UFS, but found it buggy. I don't know the status of UFS now.
