indefinite stall on Ti500 and lombard 333
i seem to be having the same problem, on my 500 mhz Ti and 333 mhz lombard. difference is, though, never _ever_ boot. so i can't use netinfo manager to fix anything. is it possible to edit out the offending information in a text editor? i'm looking at /private/var/db/netinfo/local.nidb ...one of those Store.* files perhaps? i'm really trying to avoid having to reconfigure and add users on both boxes...any help is greatly appreciated.

i spent some time digging into this problem. it seems to stem from problems when making changes to the Netinfo dbase machines records. for example, i added another "name" property to the /machines/localhost value. the new values:
