I want to use my Powerbook G3 (pismo) for a similar purpose, are there any PC-cards that supports 802.11g that works with Mac OS X?

Couldn't (easily..;-) find anything there, do you know some cards I should look for? Any list available of compatible cards?

OWC (OtherWorld Computers) is currently selling an external (PMCIA) card that is 802.11g compliant for $49. With OS X (v10.2.6) and the latest Airport software, it is absolutely plug-and-play in my Pismo.
There was an article about PCMCIA cards at
http://www.apfelgeruechte.de/ today. Just read it half an hour ago. May this helps you with your request. |
