Play any DivX file using QuickTime Player

won't play any MP3-encoded audio without a lengthy conversion process (which means double the hard drive space). Just uncheck the make stand-alone movie checkbox in DivX Doctor, this will make it take much much much less time and only be 1/5th-1/6th of the original movie.

You have not read the hint, have you?

Having both installed means you can double click any divx .avi file and watch it without any need to do some nasty doctoring, transcoding or whatever other shit. Just like in Windows: double click and watch.

BTW, instead of 3ivX, I am using an ffmpeg.component for quicktime called FFMPEG DivX 2.1. I have not compared it to 3ivX, because I saw no need to: it works flawless if installed on pair to divx.com
