Hiding users?
By default OS X does not even enable the root account, which is a good thing. Anyway, what I want to know is, is there a way to make certain Users not show up in the login window? I like having pictures in the login window ala OS 9, but the admin account(s) show up too. I'd like those to only be accessible via the Others... item (and thus only by typing in the user name as well as the password.)

Nope, either you have icons shown for all users, or all users have to type in their username & password.
