"You can actually move the display in the majority of Adobe apps without changing your tool. The full shortcut is: Command+SpaceBar, then release Command and move the mouse. (With space still held down.)"

get your facts straight, for adobe and macromedia:

hand tool = spacebar only
zoom in tool = spacebar + cmmnd (then drag or click)
zoom out tool = spacebar + cmmnd + alt
