Use the iTunes Music Store to upgrade older albums

Splitting hairs here, I realize... these are likely other additions of albums that are available. Like maybe the european release album or something. Or you might have gotten the shorter version before and you're now seeing the whole album.

I had a similar experience. I recently bought Elton John's Here and There live double album from the iTunes Music Store, even though I had already had a Here and There CD. The one I bought several years ago was not a double album. It had half of once concert and half of the other (this album is from two concerts, one in England and one in New York, hence the name).

So anyway, I agree that it's worth a look. It's probably really unusual that an album would be "upgraded" though... again, splitting hairs :)

Man, I have over 300 albums - and I have found many that have been upgraded. Either with whole new songs, or with songs from other albums or singles added on. Not to mention many have been remastered and sound much better.

But in the end - I am not sure this is an OSX hint... ;)
