Print to an Airport Extreme USB printer from WinXP
Authored by: nelly@nobis.net on Jul 29, '03 10:34:26PM

I was unable to get this to work to access (from a WIN XP machine) my Epson C80 that is connected to my Airport Extreme.

I notice this procedure was used to set up an Epson Stylus 760. However in step 6, it is indicated that a "Hewlet Packard Jet Direct" is seleted. What does a H.P. device have to do with loading an Epson printer.

The HP bit is purely how the system interprates the bridge between the Ethernet and USB ports on the base station. It doesn't matter what sort of printer you're using, the JetDirect should still work.
The C80 is listed in Apple's compatibility table so all I can suggest is that you make sure 1)The printer shows up in the airport status page and 2)you're using the latest drivers.
If you're still having trouble, you can email me at duncan[at]itswakeling[dot]com and I'll see if I can come up woth anything ese to help.
