A fix for unexpected application quits on menu bar click

The WebKit framework comes installed with Safari, and a lot of the iApps use it to display things like HTML. Not sure what iPhoto needs it for, and I don't use iCal, but Mail is definitely capable of displaying HTML, and perhaps it uses the WebKit to do its bidding. I don't think Adobe Reader does, which might explain why it wasn't affected.

A fix for unexpected application quits on menu bar click

Have had same problem and getting worse. Re-installed Safari ( after scrupulously removing all files) but problem persisted.

Re-installed OS 10.6 and problem still not fixed. Finally put only single items in bar ( as opposed to folders) and these worked OK.

Any suggestions?
