Switch locations at shutdown to remove startup lag

Between 10.1 and the current version of 10.2, there was a version of OS X that allowed more than one airport per location. You can duplicate some NICs still, but not airport anymore. I don't mean physically two airport adapters, just duplicates with different settings.

I also use STATIC IP/DHCP assined for home/office. When you could have multiple airport NICs per location, it was very nice. I just set up two airport NICs in the Automatic location. Then, when I'd move locations, I'd just select the correct network. If I waited long enough, my PB would automatically join the correct AP. The only thing is, you needed to have the AP names different. And you also had to bind the airport settings by selecting the "Join a specific network" and entering in the correct AP name for that location.

But you can't do it anymore, at least from the GUI. I suspect it's still possible if you modify the configuration yourself.
