Use an SLIMP3 server software to stream MP3 files
Authored by: bensycamore on Jun 30, '03 01:59:04PM

I can't seem to get it to work! I have done everything documented in the original post. It recognizes my iTunes library with no problems, and have viewed it from many different computers around my house, but on the right hand side under "now playing" it says "Your SLIMP3 player was not found."
and i cannot seem to do any streaming.

Any Ideas?

And also, if I get it to work within my airport network, will I be able to access my SLIMP3 library, from an outside source, such as my friends computer a few miles away?

It can be a bit finicky and slow at times. Sometimew requiring several page reloads to get your player connection to show up. I have no single solution though.
