Import multiple CD tracks as one song in iTunes4

This really isn't new. More importantly, it doesn't only work if you start from the first track, as the OP says. You can join any adjacent tracks, and there will be no gap between any of them. Absolutely necessary, say, for a CD of Scottish fiddle tunes, in which each tune gets a separate track number, but the CD is recorded as a set of medleys (ie, tracks 1-4 together, 5-7, 8-10, etc.).

The newly created joined track will be given a name which consists of the name of each track separated by a hyphen (ie, "Montgomeries' Rant - Glasgow Highlanders - Spootiskerry").

Indeed, the join-multiple-tracks feature has been around a little while, and is very handy (especially for live segues). However, I wish there was a way to specify a song separation character for joined tracks other than the default hyphen. I prefer an arrow-like greater-than symbol (>) and currently replace the hyphen with this manually, but it would be nice to figure out how to change the default .... A .plist somewhere?.
