Install the no-ip.com client as a system service

Hello, I'm the author. I was not aware of the Fink method when I put this together. I based it on previous work for running the Squid cache server as a service and a Apple tech note. I have only been able to test it on a dial up connection (which is correctly identified as "ppp" during configuration). I talked to one user with this problem and we were able to figure out the right port by turrning off all other ports in the network control panel. This software is not very cleanly executed so perhaps the Fink method would be best.

Install the no-ip.com client as a system service

Is the unix/linux client better than the Mac version. I find that the Mac version normally runs around 10% on a 550MHz G4 and sometimes up to 40% with a disconnection.

Does the unix/linux version run at much lower cpu cycles and does it function fine when disconnected from the net?

Thank you!
