network interface list all screwy
Authored by: sjonke on Jun 13, '03 02:06:31PM
I tried to do this but when I run make install I get a list of network interfaces that is gobbldegook. Not even "en0" "en1" and such. How do I know which one to pick? Here's an example:
Please select the Internet interface from this list.

By typing the number associated with it.
0
1
2
3 a0Z?x
4
5 stf0
6
7 ?Y??
8 ??
9
10
11
12 Z?x
13

I believe the fink version fixes this bug.

I have this problem as well. I do not have fink (nor do I care to install it just for this purpose).

How can I tell noip2 the proper interface for en0 using the -I commandline option. If it isn't /dev/en0, then what is it?

Does anyone have instructions on creating a startup script?
