Enable iCal synching for SE P800 & Nokia 3650

Worked great on my 3650, iCal items are on the day they're supposed to be. I do see however that the option to select the calendar(s) to sink under the .Mac prefs in iSync are greyed out (albeit all of them selected).

Sync Only Specific Calendars in iCal
Authored by: stewa on Jun 17, '03 10:13:56AM

Okay here's hwo to do this (since I've known how to do this, I really should have made it part of my hint submittal, but alas)-

Open up iSync (click the icon for P800, 3650, whatever). If you've already enabled iCal syncing through the hint you should see the Calendars section checked but greyed out. Your Contacts should be checked. Uncheck it. Now, oddly enough you have the ablity to choose "All" or "Selected". So just choose Selected then the check boxes for which specific iCalendars you want synced.

Alternatively, your iCal calendars appear in the SymbianConduitDefaults.plist as

<key>kNSSyncConduitFilteringCalendarFolderIDs</key>
<array>
<string>F 76538991.59</string>
<string>F 76539055.15</string>
<string>F 76539055.22</string>
<string>F 76539055.08</string>
<string>F 76539055.20</string>
<string>F 76539055.16</string>
</array>

Those <string>s coorespond to your specific calendars. The relationship to iCal creation I do not know. But you can delete and replace them and open iSync again and see what has been eliminated.

Enable iCal synching for SE P800 & Nokia 3650
Authored by: limnidytis on Jul 12, '03 09:02:38AM

I've changed the perf file to sync ical with my 3650, but only about 1/3 of the file transferred - it's at random - but about every 3rd day the events transferred. All of the items are in a single ical calendar, and it's not obvious (to me) if there are any differences in the events that transferred and those that did not. Insight would be appreciated.
