Recover lost iMovie volume fades in QuickTime exports

Same problem here.

My fix: I quit iMovie and then opened up the special .mov file that is found inside the folder where my iMovie project is saved.

Then I used the QuickTime export feature; the resulting file retained the all the sound fades.

Which app did you open this special .mov file in? iMovie? QuickTime Player? Any more details on how you did this would be awesome.

If this works to fix my project I'll be sooooo happy! :-)

cool...by the way do you know why this special .mov file is in there anyway?...Is it for the fast export to iDVD perhaps?
it was confusing my father in law who thought he could just email this to me to show me his movie!

after a few goes at opening the emailed .Mov files I realised what he was doing...

regards
trevor
