Using a PC-only hardware MP3 player with iTunes
Authored by: loopyzort on May 14, '03 02:21:21PM

Sorry to trash a good natured post, but:
- I bought the muvo as a last resort because I couldn't a list of flash memory OS X compatible players anywhere find anywhere (including the dead link posted in this thread)
- I'm running iTunes 4 and OS 10.2.6, upgraded the firmware and reformatted the Muvo itself
- The muvo is junk with a Mac, dragging from an iTunes playlist seems to work, until you play the tracks and hear they're all mixed together and cut between each other (unless I'm missing something or bought a busted muvo)
- Dragging from the Finder directly to the Muvo will work, but there is no way to preserve file order unless you rename the files themselves

Please prove me wrong, or help me out, I bought this thing cause I wanted a light flash mp3 player to take running (iPod shouldn't go through such jolting), and now it looks like I'll have to sell it to a PC user.

thanks, loopyzort
