Recover lost iMovie volume fades in QuickTime exports
Yes, I've seen this bug as well. I have iMovie 3.0.2 installed and after I upgraded to QuickTime 6.2 iMovie ignores all of my volume info, for all audio tracks (video, narration and music). I have a *huge* project I was working on at the time and it's totally broken. I've been waiting for Apple to realize this bug and fix it (i'll probably be waiting forever). Any other hints to do with this would be greatly appreciated!

I should clarify: what i mean by "lose all audio info" is that iMovie plays all audio tracks back at 100% volume, and ignores all fades of any kind, on any track. It does this while previewing and even if I export it.

Which app did you open this special .mov file in? iMovie? QuickTime Player? Any more details on how you did this would be awesome.

cool...by the way do you know why this special .mov file is in there anyway?...Is it for the fast export to iDVD perhaps? |
