Export album artwork from iTunes

The problem I've discovered is that even if you remove the artwork, the file does not revert back to it's "original" size! IOW, once it's bumped up by the artwork, it stays bumped up, regardless of if you delete the artwork later or not.

Some people are dragging in TIFFs rather than JPEGs too -- and this makes a big difference on a 5 GB+ collection of music, especially if you're planning to sync to an iPod (which can't display the artwork, at least not yet anyway)

So I'm holding off on assigning any artwork until the dust settles. In the meantime, Synergy and Clutter and all the others work just fine.

Are you logging out and back in (or rebooting)? Sometimes the finder does not register file sizes. Just a guess.

It does for me... I had put in a bunch of artwork from WalMart.com's 'large' images; then discovered that my file sizes were increased by as much as 500K!?! [Something to do with the way Safari handles the images?] When I deleted them, the file size would immediately drop back down, as viewed in the iTunes Library. I'm definitely waiting for "the dust to settle" as well!
