My comment is on RobG's note. In this case, I think that mv
may be better. I doubt there are resource forks on directories
and that is all that is being mv'd. The contents would remain.
The problem with ditto and CpMac is that you then have to
delete the areas and you have to have room on the disk for the
duplicate. The ditto method is obviously a little safer but
considerably slower.
