Of 10.2.5 and USB-related kernel panics
Authored by: iloatheny on Apr 26, '03 09:34:59PM

Since some point after 10.2, my kernel panics have stopped, but
there remains one issue of a "dead wakeup" when unplugging
usb devices very shortly after the computer has been put to
sleep. Therefore I must unplug USB devices before I close the lid
of my Powerbook; a highly annoying factor.

Since the behaviour only happens sporadically (typically after 10
- 15 days of uptime, when I am in a hurry and forget to unplug
before closing the lid), I have not isolated it to its exact cause,
but it seems mouse-related kext's such as the ones that come
with USB Overdrive of the Logitech mouse drivers are the
culprit.
