weird Safari graphics rendering
While I love that Safari has finally added tabbed browsing as one of its features (one of the main reasons that kept me from switching entirely), I've noticed a bizarre bug with the way it renders graphics. Perhaps I'm just being picky because it only affects a few pages, including my own personal web site www.wrong-keyhole.org (had to get in a little plug) :-). But for some reason, certain banner graphics do not display within Safari. Even if I type in the direct address to the graphic (ex. http://www.wrong-keyhole.org/banner.gif), the graphic still doesn't display. Since I've been running this site for quite a while, and I've viewed it from all sorts of browsers (IE and several Mozillla-based browsers) from different sorts of operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) with no problems, I seriously doubt it's a problem of code. As I recall, there was no problem displaying it properly with the previous version of Safari either, so this has really baffled me. |
