No Secure Sites
Authored by: RichB on Apr 14, '03 01:48:46PM

I am unable to connect to any secure (https) web sites with this
version. Anyone have any ideas? I am behind a company proxy
server if that matters.

Here's what has failed in Safari but work in IE:
https://secure.techtracker.com
https://signin.info.apple.com
https://customer.apple.com/repairstatus
and more...

Yes, this is still a bug! It is currently the only thing that
prevents me from moving exclusively to Safari. Please submit a
bug on this so we have some chance of getting this fixed.

That's a Safari killer for me too.

I don't have a proxy server, and it works fine for me. Maybe
it's a proxy issue

...and for me! Might be worth checking those proxies (I don't
have any).

(wish there was a "delete" for my stupid postings!)

After throwing out all preferences and Safari Enhancer my
secure sites are working again!
