To disable Airport:
% sudo kextunload -b com.apple.driver.AppleAirPort2
To turn it back on: % sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAirPort2.kextMuch easier than moving files and rebooting, no?

However, I have had very bad luck doing this.. To the tune of system lockups, hangs on reload of the kext, failure to suspend and resume... Anyone else seen this? |
