Funnel any email for a domain to another in Webstar

There are religious debates about this on mail server lists all the time. The main arguments against are:

1: It is a violation of the applicable RFCs
2: You will appear to spam testers as an open relay and get blacklisted
3: You'll increase your spam dramatically.

Nevertheless, people certainly do set up blanket accounts. Certainly many mail server apps allow for it.

Yes, please explain why?

I do not have an open relay at all. In fact, my smtp server uses a password authentication scheme - aka only my users can use my smtp server to send email out from my smtp server.

I have an open domain, that anyone can email, but I don't see how that will get me onto a blacklist. Why should anti-spammers care that I will accept any email sent to my domain?

I'm creating a domain funnel. All INCOMING email to that domain gets funneled to one account. I have no idea where you see that as an activity of spamming especially since there is nothing OUTGOING with what I'm describing. Spamming involved a LOT of outgoing.

heh.. stupid typo - that should be "spamming involves a LOT of outgoing." I am not a spammer and I never have been (nor will be) :)
