Bug is more extensive
Authored by: dmmorse on Aug 09, '01 01:10:33AM

This bug is actually more extensive than just a file with six characters or less having a leading zero. I have found that with any file, even one having more than six characters, cannot be renamed with a leading zero before any numeral, regardless of the numeral's position in the name. Although, if the zero is placed between numerals, then the file can be renamed without a problem. For example, if you have a file with less than six characters with the name "zzz01", and you try to rename it to "zzz1" through the finder, you will not be able to. Also, you will not be able to rename "zzz1" to "zzz01".
